The Democratic Party Leadership should feel ashamed of themselves.
$300 million dollarshas been spent introducing Barack Obama to the public over the course of 19 months, and still we aren’t sure of anything about him except that he supposedly represents “hope and change”.
$300 millionspent on one person’s quest for the Presidency backed by a Party that purports to represent the less fortunate. And in these devastating economic times when the country is at its most precarious, no less.
The night of the nomination was a one-act Greek tragedy which teetered between spectacular and spectacle. The faux Greek columns and grandiose shell of a backdrop to showcase the Democratic candidate only confirmed his image as pompous, self-serving, and merely a figurehead who is out of reach of the voters.
I am sorry if I didn’t get the intentions, but just a wild guess: were we supposed to be shocked and awed (to borrow a phrase from the current administration)?
Please stick a fork in this irony called the Democratic Party, it is DONE…
Whoopi Goldberg took Obama’s advice and brought a gun to the fight today.
I am still in shock that she actually asked Senator McCain if she should be worried about the return of slavery. BaBa WaWa offered a whoopee cushion of a reply by saying “don’t worry we white folks will take care of you”.
Well, well. So, that’s what ‘The View’ is.
What, are they trying to compete with Oprah on the ‘how low you can go’ for barack??
Give me ‘The Price is Right’ any day over that crap!

If the parties won’t uphold democratic principles, who will?
If the voters don’t hold the parties accountable, who will?
MCCAIN-PALIN both share a confident speaking style with directness (hence, MCCAIN’s slogan “straight-talk express”).
OBAMBI-BIDEN both share a confident speaking style with obfuscating the prime tactic (hence, after over $250 million dollars has been spent, many people still do not know what Obambi stands for).
