$700 million spent to buy the election. This comes closer to actually being about $1 billion when you add in all the free media on multiple networks that the BO camp was handed on a silver platter. Despicable. People are losing their homes, livelihood, etc…and yet he should be cheered for the obscene amount of money he gobbled up to grab power for himself.
In two separate posts from a few months ago, I noted that I felt: ‘America is LOST’ and ‘that women’s rights and equality will greatly suffer’ by validating the tactics employed by the Barack Obama Campaign.
America is LOST.
Women have been set back decades.
Today, both of these past reflections could not be more appropriate to now. The ideals of this country and the progress made by those heroic women have been relegated to the back of the bus. Thanks to 21st century thuggery, our future has been bought and sold.
It’s not historic when you win by ANY means necessary; so, I do not celebrate anything today.

Yes, I think the American people have been set back decades, but I also think it began with George Bush and the decline of the American ideal. Obama and the powers of the Democratic party just saw the opportunity, and wouldn’t let trifling ideals like “democracy” or “equal rights” get in the way.
A Carter needs a Nixon to get elected, and an Obama needs a Bush. I don’t think we can yet begin to comprehend the full extent of the political and economic damage Bush has done to the Republic. But perhaps Obama will graciously make it much more evident to us.
$700 million is nothing compared to $700 billion, but the rights that have been abrogated and the ideals that have been set aside are priceless.
